NIIT to set up 100 One World centres in one year

COIMBATORE: Leading global talent development corporation NIIT plans to set up 100 'NIIT One World' career-building centres in the next one year, a top company official said today.

The NIIT One World centres are touted as a one-stop destination offering training to students and professionals across multiple domains.

As part of the plan, existing centres would also be converted into NIIT One World centres and the company plans to set up 250-300 such units in two years, NIIT Ltd Chief Executive, Career Building Solutions, G Raghavan said here.

The company will spend about Rs 15 crore to Rs 16 crore on its expansion drive during the next 12-15 months, he said launching an NIIT One World centre here.

NIIT One World is a first-of-its-kind training institute that will serve as a one-stop destination for providing quality training to students and professionals across multiple domains, such as IT, banking and finance, management and BPO, he told reporters here.
