IFBI JAMMU PLACES ANOTHER BATCH OF 8 STUDENTS IN ICICI BANK

NIIT Supports 3rd Jammu Marathon

NIIT Jammu is supporting 3rd Jammu Marathon.

NIIT Jammu will sponsor 100 Participants in this Event. Students will be given Marathon Tee's and NIIT Branded Cap during the Marathon.
NIIT JAMMU will run for Pride of Jammu.

P Rajendran Jammu Centre Visit

P. Rajendran Chief Operating Officer and Co-founder of NIIT Ltd, is part of the core team that has developed the organisation and brought it to its present position of international standing, since its inception in 1981. He is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi 

 

 

Today he visited NIIT Rehari Centre for some time. Here are some pics of his Visit. He intreacted with Staff and as well as some students in Class Room and Machine Room.

IFBI places another 7 candidates

In ICICI Bank.

Another batch of 7 candidates trained in Institute of Finance and Banking Operations, Jammu Centre, a unit of NIIT Ltd, got placed in the ICICI Bank. IFBI runs various programs of which few leads to Operations cadre and  the few others relating to Sales and retail banking. Placement happen in ICICI Bank with whom NIIT Limited has a contractual arrangement.

Revealing these facts, Mr. Rahul Sharma, Director of the Franchisee Company said that training is imparted by Professional Bankers having  long  experience in Banking operations. He said that this is the first time when out of the 7 candidates  3 have been placed locally.  Congratulating the candidates  Mr. Sharma advised them to work with sincerity and honesty which only will carry their Career Ambitions forward.

NIIT JAMMU ORGAINSES DIWALI MELA FOR ITS STUDENT ON 22nd OCTOBER,2011.
LOTS OF STALLS OF GAMES / CREATIVITY DISPLAY AND EATING WERE ORGAINSED BY THE STUDENTS FOR BOTH THE CENTRES.

DISPLAY YOUR TALENT WAS ALSO MAIN ATTRACTION OF THE EVENT WHERE STUDENTS SHOWED THEIR PERFORMANCE OF SINGING / DANCING and POETRY.

AT THE END PRIZES WERE DISTRIBUTED AMONG THE STUDENTS.

NIIT JAMMU OPENED A NEW CENTRE IN RAJOURI, WITH THE INTENSION OF MEETING PEOPLE"S REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPUTER TRAINING & PLACEMENT OPPORTUNTIES THRU NIIT NATIONAL PLACEMENT CELL.

NIIT Jammu organizes Placement Campus for iYogi & Bharati Axalife:

Jammu 5^th September, 2011

NIIT Jammu Organised Placement Campus for its students on the request of iYogi, - A leading provider of online subscription-based technical support services offered directly to consumers and small businesses across a wide range of computing and communications devices and software. iYogi’s largest customer base is the United States, followed by the U.K., Canada and Australia. iYogi conducted the interviews for the Profile of “Tech Support” & Bharti Axalife – A leading Life Insurance Company conducted it for the Unit Managers Profile. Nearly 60 students appeared for both the companies. Seven of NIIT’s students got selected for iYogi as Tech Support on an Annual Pay Package of Rs. 2.75 Lacs. Bharti Axalife also shortlisted 8 Candidates who to undergo another interview at Company Premises here in Jammu. Most of these students had done various Programs ranging from one & half year to 3 Year Diploma Program like GNIIT.

Mr.Rahul Sharma, Director of Jammu NIIT’s Franchisee Company, Coordinated with the Companies and students. Congratulating the selected students, Mr.Sharma stated that such like placement campus are the part and parcel of NIIT Services to the students. Mr.Avinash Ayyagari from HR department of iYogi and Mr.Navneet Mediratta, Branch Head of Bharti Axalife interviewed the candidates & made it an successful placement campus drive. They stated that technically students are good but quite a few lacked communication skills which they need to improve.

Farewell 2 NIIT-ian

NIIT Rehari gave Farewell to Engg. Students who had joined NIIT in last 2 Months for different Technical Skills  Enhancement Programs. Mainly these students are studying outside the state in different Enggineering Colleges and were in their hometown (Jammu)  for Summer Vacations & also for completing their Projects.

Student Spoke high for NIIT Rehari Staff for providing excellent training facility. 

On this Occassion Naveen Sharma, Education Business Head NIIT Jammu also spoke on this occassion. He wish all these students a Very Best of Luck for the future. He laid stress to the students to keep on updating their skills in IT field and NIIT is the best platform for all their IT Needs.
